I am huge fan of flowers. I just love them.
I’ve been watching paper flowers online for a while now.
Today I wanna show you guys how I make these diy paper flowers using a cardboard paper!
Now, the paper flower is nothing new – but this tutorial gives us a fresh look at an old favorite – using just cardboard papers!
I can’t believe how gorgeous and realistic many of them look.
They’re really easy and fun to make, hope you like’em!
Lets get started.
Material You Need:
Some cardboard papers
Glue (or you can use Gum gun as well)
First cute two paper strips.
The bigger one is 30 cm X 3 cm and the smaller one is 30 cm X 1 cm.
Just for my reference I have drawn a line on the bigger blue strip.
The line is drawn by keeping 1 cm distance from the top of the strip.
Now with the help of your scissor start cutting the big paper strip just like below.
Here I am cutting till the line which I have drawn for my reference.
Keep on cutting it till the end of the strip.
Now take the other small paper strip.
Apply some glue on one of its ends. Here remember not to apply glue on the entire strip.
You need to apply just on the end part.
Turn the bigger paper strip.
Below you can see the reference line part has gone below now.
Now take the smaller strip and stick its end ( remember where you have applied glue) on right end of the bigger strip.
Just like this.
Start rolling the smaller strip. While rolling you don’t need to apply any glue.
Keep on rolling. Still there is no need to apply any glue. Make it a tight roll.
Now take a pause as you need to apply some glue on this remaining part.
Stick this part back to the roll.
It will look something like this.
Take a look from behind.
Now the simplest and fun part is opening the petals.
Gently open the petals like below.
You may need to bend it like this to give your flower proper shape.
And there you go. Your easy handmade paper flower is ready.
It looks so pretty.
These handmade flowers are as colorful, beautiful and bright as real flowers.
Have a look.
